CALL FOR PAPERS
1. INTRODUCTION
The International Conference on Finance, Accounting and Auditing (ICFAA) 2025 is the 8th. in a series of successful conferences on Finance, Accounting and Auditing organized by The National Economics University (NEU, Vietnam) in collaboration with The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW, the United Kingdom) and The Cardiff Metropolitan University (the United Kingdom). The 2025 8th ICFAA will be held at The National Economics University (NEU), in Hanoi, Vietnam on 13th December 2025.
The conference provides a platform for local and international researchers, scientists, practitioners and educators from academia and industry to present and discuss the latest trends, experiences and concerns in the field of accounting, auditing and finance. The previous, 2024 7th ICFAA conference, was successful conducted with about 350 participants from all over the world.

2. KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Keynote Speaker No.1: Mr. Vikesh Mirani, ACA (ICAI), ACA (ICAEW)

General Manager & Chief Financial Officer, Bank Dhofar, Muscat - Oman

Vikesh Mirani is a senior banking and finance executive with over 25 years of leadership experience across Asia and the Middle East. He has held top management roles including Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Board Member, driving transformation, digital innovation, and strategic growth at leading financial institutions.
Vikesh is currently General Manager & Chief Financial Officer at Bank Dhofar in Oman. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer at Arab Bank for Investment & Foreign Trade (Al Masraf) in the UAE, where he advised on business strategy and digital transformation. From 2012 to 2016, he served as Managing Director, Group CFO and Head of Strategy & Investor Relations at Techcombank in Vietnam, a major affiliate of HSBC.
Earlier in his career, Vikesh held senior leadership roles at EmiratesNBD in the UAE, including Group Financial Controller and Head of Finance Policies & Control, playing a key role in the landmark US$11 billion merger of Emirates Bank and National Bank of Dubai. He has also worked with Standard Chartered (UAE), HSBC (Saudi Arabia), Emirates Bank International (UAE), and ABN AMRO (UAE) in finance leadership positions.
A Chartered Accountant with dual qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and ICAEW (UK), Vikesh is also a mentor, conference speaker, and international policy expert with the Green Climate Fund, advising on sustainability and climate finance.

 

Keynote Speaker No.2: Mr. Tan Khoon Yeow, ACA (ICAEW), FCCA, CFA, ASEAN CPA
Partner, Learning & Professional Development, BDO; Executive-in-Residence for the Business School, Sunway University, Malaysia.

Tan Khoon Yeow started his career in 2002 with the Audit & Assurance Division of BDO before his involvement in the Learning and Professional Development (LAPD) services since 2006. His current responsibilities include facilitating International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting, sustainability and auditing training courses for both, professional staff and clients of BDO in the South East Asia region.
He is currently an Executive-in-Residence for the Sunway University Business School, a member of the External Advisory Committee for the Department of Accounting at Sunway Business School and a member of the Academic & Industry Advisory Board for the Sunway College Diploma in Accounting Programme.
Khoon Yeow is the Chairman of the BDO Asia Pacific IFRS Group and a member of the BDO International IFRS Policy Committee (PC), BDO International Sustainability Reporting PC, Global Audit Training Advisory Group, Comment Letter Task Force and Ethics & Independence Standards User Group.
He is also a member of the Education Board of the MIA and a member of the ACCA Malaysia Advisory Committee.


3. TOPICS OF INTEREST
Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit papers related to all aspects of finance, accounting, and auditing of both theoretical and empirical natures.
4. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
  • Official language: English.
  • Papers should have the following structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review/Theoretical Framework, Methodology, Findings and Discussions, Conclusion, and References. Papers should not have more than 6,000 words, submitted in Microsoft Word format, characters Times New Roman 12 pt. and 1.5 line spacing. See more details here.
  • All submitted manuscripts are subject to strict double-blind peer review process. The accepted manuscripts will be published in the 2025 8th ICFAA proceedings with an ISBN and might be selected for presentation.
  • File naming and delivery:
