OVERVIEW
The International Conference on Finance, Accounting and Auditing (ICFAA) 2023 is the 6th. in a series of successful conferences on Finance, Accounting and Auditing organized by The National Economics University (NEU, Vietnam) in collaboration with The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW, the United Kingdom) and The Cardiff Metropolitan University (the United Kingdom). The 2023 6th ICFAA will be held at The National Economics University (NEU), in Hanoi, Vietnam on 20th December 2023.
The conference provides a platform for local and international researchers, scientists, practitioners and educators from academia and industry to present and discuss the latest trends, experiences and concerns in the field of accounting, auditing and finance. The previous, 2022 5th ICFAA conference, was successful conducted with about 100 participants from all over the world.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Foo See Liang, PhD, PCA
Senior Executives Program, MIT
Mr See Liang is a board member of the Singapore Advisory Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He was an Associate Professor (Practice) at the School of Accountancy, Singapore Management University. His practice and research interests are in governance, risk management and assurance.
Mr See Liang is active in the accounting profession and industry. He has served as a member of the Ethics Committee of the Public Accountants Oversight Committee, ACRA, IS Chartered Accountant Editorial Advisory Panel, Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee, and the Investigation and Disciplinary Panel of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
Mr See Liang has served as a director of listed companies, chairman of Audit Committees and a member of the Audit & Risk Committee. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (UK) and ISCA.
Charles Cho, PhD, CPA, CGA
Schulich School of Business, York University
Professor Charles Cho is Professor of Sustainability Accounting at Schulich School of Business, York University, the top business school in Canada and among the leading business schools in the world. He is one of the most prominent and distinguished accounting professors in the world. He was a professor at ESSC Business School in Paris. He was an auditor at KPMG in USA.His research on sustainability and business ethics has been widely cited by scholars in the world, with more than 10,000 google citations.
He currently serves as the Editor of several leading academic journals, including Journal of Business Ethics, Business & Society, and Accounting Forum.
