National Economics University (NEU)
Established in 1956, the National Economics University (NEU) is a leading university in the areas of economics and business management. NEU has always been a pioneer in the field of tertiary education and scientific research. Its mission is to provide to the national economy with quality human resources. The Institution’s mission is to offer accessible quality training, research and innovation in order to produce leaders in the fields of Economics, Business and Management, Finance and Accounting, to suit the needs of a dynamic market.
The School of Accounting and Auditing (SAA), NEU has 5 Departments: Accounting Principles, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing and Accounting Information System. The School comprises 2 staffs and 55 lecturers (including, 1 Professors, 12 Associate Professors, 29 Lecturers with PhD degrees, 13 Lecturers with Master degrees). Currently, there are over 2000 undergraduate students, 250 master students and 20 PhD candidates majoring in Accounting and Auditing.
The SAA offers undergraduate programmes and postgraduate courses in Accounting and Auditing. In addition, two international programmes BA in Accounting and Finance (collaborated with Cardiff Metropolitan University) and BA in Accounting/ Auditing (integrated with ICAEW CFAB) are being run.
