Vikesh Mirani is a senior banking and finance executive with over 25 years of leadership experience across Asia and the Middle East. He has held top management roles including Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Board Member, driving transformation, digital innovation, and strategic growth at leading financial institutions.
Vikesh is currently General Manager & Chief Financial Officer at Bank Dhofar in Oman. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer at Arab Bank for Investment & Foreign Trade (Al Masraf) in the UAE, where he advised on business strategy and digital transformation. From 2012 to 2016, he served as Managing Director, Group CFO and Head of Strategy & Investor Relations at Techcombank in Vietnam, a major affiliate of HSBC.
Earlier in his career, Vikesh held senior leadership roles at EmiratesNBD in the UAE, including Group Financial Controller and Head of Finance Policies & Control, playing a key role in the landmark US$11 billion merger of Emirates Bank and National Bank of Dubai. He has also worked with Standard Chartered (UAE), HSBC (Saudi Arabia), Emirates Bank International (UAE), and ABN AMRO (UAE) in finance leadership positions.
A Chartered Accountant with dual qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and ICAEW (UK), Vikesh is also a mentor, conference speaker, and international policy expert with the Green Climate Fund, advising on sustainability and climate finance.
